The winter scents are one of my favorite things of the season, the Christmas tree, the wood burning, the cinnamon…Well, all those things that makes me feel cozy at home!
Here are the scents I chose from Bath and Body Works.
From top to bottom:
- Cinnamon & Clove Buds
- Mahogany Teakwood
- Frosted Cranberry
- Applewood Bonfire
- Marshmallow Fireside
- Mint Chocolate
- Fresh Balsam
And just if you are curious, my 3 favorites are Marshmallow Fireside (such a sweet and warm scent), Fresh Balsam (smells like Xmas tree) and Cinnamon & Clove Buds (too bad I could only get the smallest one!)
MANI OF THE DAY!
Another festive and glittery mani to get into the mood for the holidays!
- Essie - Head Mistress
- OPI - Rainbow Connection
PS. sorry for my horrible cuticles, I have been doing a lot of housework and crafty stuff so everything will be ready for Xmas!
NEW NAIL POLISH DISPLAY
Before I used to put my perfumes on these displays, but it was to heavy and I was afraid one day everything will just collapse!
I think it is a better idea to put instead the nail polishes of the season, the colors that I will be wearing during the next few weeks. This way I make sure I don not forget to use any of them!
Here you have some of the stuff that I have been loving lately!
The eau de parfum Annick Goutal, I got this perfume during one of the last Christmas that I spent with my mom and it brings so good memories to me!
The pocket perfume spray from Sephora (so handy!)
The candle Marshmallow Fireside from Bath and Body Works. The smell is sooooo cozy!
The Maybelline’s lipbalm Baby Lips in Cherry Me. The flavor is delicious and even if it’s very sheer, it gives a nice pink color to my lips.
The Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base from Nars. This products works great, maybe it will replace the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and the Primer Protion from Urban Decay in my vanity!
The last beauty product is the Maybelline’s Big Eyes Mascara, with it’s baby brush it makes so easy to color my under lashes!
Call me old fashion, but I still prefer to write an email using a keyboard! I use this silicon wireless keyboard with my tablet, it is very easy to roll and to keep it clean.
Another old fashion thing that I love, is my Where is Waldo? pocket book! Don’t ask why!
And back in this century…The Noom Walk App is so helpful when you try to exercise outside the gym!
Two “old” shows that are still on my top 5 are The Mindy Project and Two Broke Girls, every week I wait impatiently to watch the new episodes!
Finally my all time favorite band…The Killers…They just launched their Hits Album and a Christmas song with a video starring Owen Wilson…I say, awesome!
Totally ready to start scrapbooking again! I got a kit for these holidays and then another one for 2014, both are very very pretty, I just hope to keep motivated and arrive to finish both!
- Smash bundle Holiday
- Smash bundle Pink
- Smash sticky note pad
- Smash clips Cutesy metal
- Smash tabs
- Hot off the press small stamps
- Smash divider tabs
MANI OF THE DAY
Starting the month with a festive manicure!
- Diorling - CD
- Sashay my Way - Orly
NEW RUBY WING POLISHES
As if I needed more…I got 2 new polishes, these are the ones that are supposed to change color with sunlight, but here we have a crappy weather, so I guess I will have to wait till next summer to see how they work! But well, never mind, the colors are very pretty and I am still happy to have them in my collection!
The blue one is called Eclipse and the silver one is Meadow. About the formula, Eclipse is a little too thin, I needed 3 coats to get it opaque and I still feel that there are some spots that are not entirely covered, but Meadow in the other hand, is great, super opaque with just one coat, and the effect is almost like foil, very impressed with this one!
HOLIDAY SCRAPBOOK PROJECT
Another nerdy fact about me, is that I love scrapbooking! Unfortunately because of the time I spend taking care of my 2 year old boy and my undeniable laziness, I haven’t done any cool projects since…well…a while….So, for this December I decided to work on this cool project and make the most beautiful (hopefully) photo album for my baby boy!
The materials I will be working with are this awesome album from the Belive Collection by Heidi Swapp and to embellish the whole thing, I also got the die-cuts of the same collection! I’ll be taking the pictures with my super cool Fujifilm Instanx Mini 7s and the Lomography Fisheye Baby 11
In the pictures you have some of my favorite pages from the album (even if all of them are pretty), pictures of the die-cuts that come in the 94 pieces ephemera package and finally one picture of my 2 cameras.
So, now that I am totally prepared, there is no excuse for not keeping this holidays memories in a beautiful place to share with the family and my boy in some years!

Since I use this products my hair feels healthier and so smooth and shiny! Here is my routine for this winter:
